Soon a small tournament before maybe DLC 3 MK8.

A small tournament would be for Monday if possible. I will discuss with Lythero to see if it's possible. If this is the case, here are the rules of the tournament :

- Two GPs, all DLCs.
- 200cc, normal idem.
- Everyone can participate.

- The winner will win 10$. In case of equality, they'll be shared.
- The eight circuits must be different. Otherwise, it'll be a penalty for a person.
- You must remain in the server after the first GP ended.

I remind you that this is not taken account of the Tier List because the DLC 3 is still not out (his trailer too). Nevertheless, I wanted to do it as a test for my Discord (if possible). If you want to go in my Discord, let me know.

On that, see ya.

Ranking MK8 Players

(WARNING : THIS IS A TEST ! This will be updated later.)

Welcome in the ranking of the best players on Mario Kart 8 in 200cc mode.

You'll find some Streams including that of Lythero. I only counts if they made a full Grand Prix 200cc (four races). Once finished four races, they'll appear on this ranking. There are many Third, a Tier where there are great players, and one where there are beginners or inexperienced players.

And you, what is your place ?

God Tier (0 ~ 3,99)

These are players who win a lot of races. They've the reputation of being the best players of the MK8 in 200cc mode. So they're very difficult to beat them.

 - SS : (0 ~ 1,99)

Very talented and very lucky, this sub-tier is the highest sub-tiers. They win a lot and are capable to do 60 points in a GP, in other words, a perfect ! We call "Monster Tier" in this sub-tier.

 - Kimo

 - S : (2 ~ 3,99)

Excellent players. We often see them on the podium and they're usually hard to beat them. Sure, they're slightly less good than the Monsters, but they can make a GP with 60 points. Not to underestimate them.

 - SonicStormCharles

 Top Tier (4 ~ 9,59)

This is the higher Tier after God Tier. In this tier, they've professional players, but weaker than the big players. We often see them on the podium. There are some great players, but they're unlucky. There are some good players (no more), but with much luck. In short, players where it's hard to beat them, but not impossible.

  - A+ : (4 ~ 4,79)

It's God Tier players on Top Tier. Ultimately, they're not as strong as God Tier players in general, but they're still excellent in most times. These are the most dangerous in one of the tournaments where God Tier players are forbidden to participate in this tournament.

 - Sparta_Dog

 - A : (4,8 ~ 7,99)

This sub-tier is where we find very good players. Generally, they're not unbeatable, but they are able to make a correction to the other players, like winning a race for example. Many players have their favorite circuits and are more difficult to beat them on these circuits. The sub-tier has the most players on this tier.

 - Lythero

 - A- : (8 ~ 9,59)

They're not as strong as professional players, but they are able to able to do better. Obviously, they can be very lucky or very unlucky (it depent their way that they play).

 - Phantom X

 Middle Tier (9,6 ~ 15,99)

This Tier where there is the most players. They're good (even very good), but they're not very strong. We usually see them in the middle of the rankings. Be careful, although this isn't a Top Tier, players are able to manage their race. So, the difficulty of beating them is located in the average.

  - B+ : (9,6 ~ 11,99)

Intermediate players. They're managing the race and they're good. It's rare to see them win a race (it's not impossible after all). It happens to see very good players but who have a very bad luck...

 - N1ntend0d0

 - B : (12 ~ 14,39)

Many players are in this sub-tier. They're quite good, but not great. You're able to beat them because they're average. If you're very good, you win more often against them.

 - Robert

 - B- : (14,4 ~ 15,99)

They're, ultimately, good, but sometimes they don't play very well. In short, novice players. They're easier to beat them that B rank players.

 - Emp.Duke

Low Tier (16 ~ 24)

This is the lowest Tier. We'll find beginners or inexperienced players. We often see them in the bottom of the rankings of the race. Obviously, there are players who play in other ways such as motion control Wii U.

 - C : (16 ~ 19,19)

More novice than novice players that we find them on the Middle Tier. They're quite easy to beat them. View them winning a race is something exceptional although very rare (I say this, I say nothing heh).

 - Dracos

 - D : (19,2 ~ 19,99)

Ultimately, they're less catastrophic than the Bottom tier players, but they can't do much better (a near impossible victory, a podium a little less). Anyway, they do what they really do.

 - AU

 - E : (20 ~ 24)

The lowest sub-tier. Either they finish the race, but in the last seats or they often have problems with the connection on the Wi-Fi... In short, players who play like that.

That's it.

Tournaments on MK8

Hi everybody. I speak tournaments. There are three tournaments, plus a tournament for a training once a new DLC will be on Mario Kart 8.

Tournaments are almost the same, except that some rules aren't the same. I can change them if it's not really suitable.

Anyway, here are the four tournaments :

Best Tournament Ever !

- Two GPs, all DLCs.
- 200cc, normal idem.
- Only God Tier and Top Tier can participate. Middle Tier and Low Tier players are forbidden.
- The winner will win 50$. In case of equality, they'll be shared.
- The eight circuits must be different. Otherwise, it'll be a penalty for a person.
- You must remain in the server after the first GP ended.

No Monster Tier players here, it's too cool !

- Two GPs, all DLCs.
- 200cc, normal idem.
- Low Tier and Monster Tier player (sub-tier on God Tier) aren't allowed to participate in this tournament.
- The winner will win 25$. In case of equality, they'll be shared.
- The eight circuits must be different. Otherwise, it'll be a penalty for a person.
- You must remain in the server after the first GP ended.

It's better when God Tier players are forbidden.

- Two GPs, all DLCs.
- 200cc, normal idem.
- Only God Tier players are forbidden.
- The winner will win 20$. In case of equality, they'll be shared.
- The eight circuits must be different. Otherwise, it'll be a penalty for a person.
- You must remain in the server after the first GP ended.

Training tournament mode.

- Only when a new DLC will be present, just after an update.

Tier List - Points on Ranking MK8 Player.

These are points where you'll reap on GPs, in the 200cc mode (remember it takes to finish the four races to be present in the ranking) :

Note that I take the races where there are six or more players who play in a race.

Questions & Responses

What is a MK8 player ?

These are players who play Mario Kart 8, a Wii U game. If you've this game and the console, you can play this game and maybe you will become the best MK8 player.

How to become the best MK8 player ?

That's easier said than done. Because you have to choose a character who suits you best and make the best combination of your vehicle. After, you need talent to win a race, see a GP. If you've favorite channels, you'll have more chance of winning a race.

There are some who are too good. I can't beat them...

It's normal. Many players have bought this game there are more than two years. So they are much better and very experienced. If you are beginner, try play alone or with friends. Be careful, if I'm present in a stream, I'll accept the races where six or more players are present.

Why put the flag of our nationality on MK8 ?

For everyone knows where the players come from. So, for example, if they're Japanese, they're very stronge, times.

In the world, do we play this game ?

In most countries, yes.

Is it normal that, the players who lag ? There are some who teleport. Others are affected by bananas but continue to roll...

Know that this isn't a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. There is no change during a race. Yes, often, it's normal. There are players who their connection has some problems or they've a connection who pass badly.

Do you take 60 points (people who have 60 points in a GP) ?
No. By cons, if they've 60 points, I'll put them a 0. In fact, there will be a ranking. The more you're above, you'll have less points in your average, in ranking Tier List. For example, with 60 points in a GP, you'll have 0. But with only 4 points, you'll have 96...

How it goes in the ranking Tier List ?

Your points that you'll have in a GP or in a few races will be added points that you got before. They'll be divided by the number of your race participation to have the average in the rankings. But know that I will take into account only when if I'm there. And no no and no for replays. Otherwise, it'll be a little cheating.

We want to know who are the best and bad players.

There are Tiers and sub-Tiers in this ranking Tier List. The Tier God is considered the highest Tier, unlike Low Tier. There are several sub-Tiers in each Tier. Their level depent what they did.

Is it possible that the best players aren't allowed to participate in a tournament ?

It would be unfair that they'll not participate. But don't worry. There will be 3 plus 1 tournament for a training whenever a new DLC will be present, who just arrives. The God Tier players can't participate in a tournament. The sub-tier, Monster Tier, two tournaments.

Why will you agree not to take races where there are fewer than six players ?

I'll not accept them because otherwise it would be less balanced for the ranking. Only six or more, and I'll accept them.

Are there various points if we're six or twelve in a race ?

Yes. The points table will be there soon.

Do you agree to take courses, though it's 150cc ?

No. Only 200cc.

I've a problem with my connection and I can't join you because it's full. Are you going to take the players who left the race because of a connection problem ?

Unfortunately yes. Fair, there are some rage-quited who lurk in the corner. So, I accept all the players who participated in this race, including all who left in the middle of the race. I know it seems unfair to you, but with rage-quited...

You'll not watched all the 200cc races, right ?

Of course, otherwise I would be too tired. *laugh*

Why Lythero ? Seriously, there are others who are better known than him.

Hey ! This guy is really a good person and he loves Mario Kart 8. Of course, there are some crazy times like "CRAZY $$$". I invite you on his Twitch. Otherwise, there are others who are very well known, AlpharadTV or Vinesauce.

Last question, who are you ?

I manage the ranking Tier List. My name Carby or Carby_Vin. I'm 25 and I live in France. I play on Wii U and SSB MK8. I'm a fan of Fire Emblem. You can add the Wii U with my NNID : Carby_Vin. But know that for tournaments, I'll be "Milly_Twitch" (unless the people who make them want to create their stream GP 200cc).

That's it.  If you've further questions, please send them to me. I'll be happy to answer them.

Welcome, MK8 player !

Welcome on my site !

Here, I'll set a Tier List who involve players having played on Mario Kart 8, ONLY ON 200CC. Indeed, the 200cc is rather more interesting than 150cc because playing with a character heavyweight category is different between two modes, for example.

This Tier List will soon be prepared once a new DLC (third, not yet confirmed but there are chance that this will happen) will be there. I tried to make a Tier List, but it's a little too late (I made a small mistake and I'm unable to fix it, I feel ashamed, sorry guys XD ).

Also, if another DLC, the fourth (if he'll not come out at the same time that the third), will be present one day after the third, I'm forced to remove the Tier List where the LDC 4 isn't present, to balance a little the Tier List, sorry.

That's all for now. I'll make a new section tomorrow for the rules and for tournaments. Hmm ? Tournaments ? Yes, but I'll speak on that one day, so please wait & see.
